Ball State Visit

Visiting loved ones while they are living on campus is what a lot of people do these days. It's always fun to see those loved ones again and see how they have changed over time. That was the case for me when I visited my girlfriends Nadia this past weekend. Although the drive was 3 straight hours, it was worth it in the end. The first day I got there, Nadia showed me all around the campus. She showed me where she ate, where her classes were, and her whole dorm building. After that, I treated her to Olive Garden, her favorite restaurant, for dinner. Next, we went to see the Marvel movie Shang-Chi. I would say it was one of the best movies I have ever seen. It started to get late after the movie so we decided to head back to her dorm and call it a night.

One of the best things about visiting a loved one far away for the weekend is getting to sleep in as late as you want. We ended up sleeping in until 11 AM. Nadia and I got ready for the day and mostly chilled this day. She dyed my hair back to brown this day and we went to concert held on campus by a band called AJR. I have never heard of them, but I thought they had some pretty good songs. After the concert, we went back to her dorm and ordered some pizza hut while watching a ton of Marvel movies like Black Panther and Doctor Strange.

The final day I visited, we got up around the same time and went to a small mall strip down the road. we explored the area and went to Halloween city, American Eagle, and Old Navy. I ended up getting a couple new flannels from American Eagle, but after that it was time for me to go home. We said our goodbyes and I mentally prepared for the 3 hour drive. Overall, I think visiting loved ones far away is one of the best experiences I have ever experienced.
